I've called Oregon home for over 25 years now. As an avid outdoors-woman, my passion lies in hiking, backpacking, and photography. Over the past decade, I've dedicated myself to discovering how amazing and diverse Oregon truly is—and I want to share every trail discovery with you.
It brings me great joy to take new people out and show them the magnificent beauty of Oregon!

Why I Started Hike Oregon
When I first began hiking again as an adult almost 10 years ago, I was going off of an old guidebook published in the 80's. I kept coming across outdated information—relocated trailheads, wrong mileage, views that no longer existed.
When I looked online for more information, I couldn't find anything reliable. So I took it upon myself to document current and accurate information every time I did one of those hikes. I made sure to take lots of pictures so folks could see what the trail was really like before going.
I wanted 15 hikes fully documented before launching—and on August 28th, 2014, Hike Oregon went live.
