Head out on this 4.1-mile out-and-back trail near Sweet Home, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 5 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding and hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are March through October.

Head out on this 3.8-mile out-and-back trail near Sweet Home, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 17 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are January through July. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. This is an excellent hike for folks looking to get views of numerous volcanoes, as well as the Willamette Valley. With good views looking east, you can see several snow-capped mountains, and to the west the sprawling Willamette Valley and coastal Cascades. Highly recommended for all, a fun hike with great rewards.
